Saline Tattoo Removal

What is Saline Removal?

Saline tattoo removal is a non-laser method to remove unwanted inks and pigments from the skin. It works by tattooing a concentrated saline solution into the skin. The salt then pulls water from the skin and with it, comes the pigment molecules.

Why choose saline removal?

It's great for permanent makeup because it won't make the colour change to an extreme colour (yellow or red).
It's less painful than laser.
Saline can remove ALL colours
You won't get scarring, burns or blisters.

What will I look like after saline removal?

The area in question will be red and possibly a bit puffy. It may feel like a bad sun burn after. The redness and puffiness tends to subside after a few hours.

How often can I get saline removal sessions?

You must wait at least 6 weeks in between sessions. This ensures the area is completely healed before the next session. If you come back before then, you risk scarring.

Do I have to shave my eyebrows or will they fall out when I get saline removal?

You do not need to shave your eyebrows to get saline removal. You may lose a few hairs in the scabbing, but if you do, they will grow back. The hair follicles will not be damaged. Sometimes your hair even grows back better, thicker and healthier!

Can saline removal work on body tattoos?

Yes, you can use saline on body tattoos, however it works better on some than others. Small tattoos and tattoos with colours that laser cannot remove are perfect for saline removal.
